We asked our employees what their favorite PawnMaster feature is, and why. Here’s what they had to say:
What’s your favorite add-on and why?
E-foro integrated eCommerce is my choice of add-on module. It affords PawnMaster customers the ability to compete against today’s technically savvy world. We no longer live in a world with one stay-at-home parent – the time when people actually drove to a storefront to shop is becoming less and less. People today are too busy working and getting through their days to drive to a mall or stand in line. Time is precious. Research shows more and more people are shopping online, banking online, and doing many of the chores that take up their time online.
Time is precious and in today’s non-traditional world there is not a lot of time left over at the end of the day. We now have the ability to price check from search engines instead of waiting for sales flyers to come in the mail. Why would you not want the opportunity to capitalize on this? Better yet, why would you not want to grow your business by offering this avenue? ONLINE sales. Move your inventory when the doors are closed and lights are off.
Why do your customers love it?
It’s a combination of things: Less money spent in employee hours – now they only need one person to work solely on online sales. There are so many reasons customers love e-foro: Inventory control, time saved, ease-of-use, and simplicity. Any information placed in PawnMaster is pre-populated in your listing area so there is very little to do to prepare that listing. Cross-posting is a breeze and gives you more exposure. E-foro is the customers all-in-one product that includes inventory management and tracking, online sales tracking and profitability. Inventory turns happen more often because your selling online (less aged inventory you can’t move with the traditional storefront traffic). At the end of the day our customers are in business to make money and this product helps them do just that without having to struggle or pay tons of money to market their business.
Why do your customers need it?
To be clear there may be 50 other software products that do the same thing but what sets ours apart from the rest is our integration with PawnMaster. No more errors of selling an item in store that sold online. No more missing the in-store opportunity to sell that item because you have it online, with PawnMaster’s e-foro integration and on-screen prompts you always know where your inventory is and if that sale can be made. You can get up to four times the exposure for one item with e-foro. Again, the integration and default settings cut down on the length of time to get that listing prepared. E-foro reporting is bar none! Our customers no longer have to use a separate software to keep a running tab of all expenses, profits and losses pertaining to online sales. E-foro’s summary report can provide you with that information.
eBay – allows you to sell in your sleep all over the world. How’s that for exposure?
Craigslist – provides you with an opportunity to bring additional foot traffic through your door, and the benefit of up-selling when they get to see all that you offer in inventory
Gunbroker – Allows for the combination of the first two platforms mentioned. 1) A much wider audience 2) a new in store customer base
The bottom line is this:
If you have a database of 2,500 customers wouldn’t you like to have a database of 5,000 or 10,000 customers? Online sales allows you to have that presence both through a storefront and the world wide web. If you’re not moving forward with technology then you’re not going to survive in today’s or tomorrow’s world. Are you going to be left behind or are you going to look back at the others you’re passing on the way to the top of your mountain?
