As a former business owner in the retail space text message is a product I wish I had in my fitness stores. It would alert me to business transactions while I was away from the stores and it would allow me to communicate real-time with my clients to send them specials, birthday wishes and events.
Our clients love text messaging for the same reason. It is a great marketing tool and it is simple to use. Studies show people read their text in less than three minutes of receiving them. Clients also use it for security-related alerts and to drive more traffic through their doors.
