The NPA Pawn Industry Financial and Operating Performance Benchmark Survey can be as much of a handful to complete as it is a mouthful to say, but we can’t stress enough how beneficial completing it can be for the future of your business. There’s not a consultant in the world who wouldn’t charge tens of thousands of dollars for the data the NPA and Industry Insights provides to you just for spending an hour or two filling out the NPA Benchmark Survey.

PawnMaster’s reporting tools make finding the information you need a straightforward process. Before you get started, check under “Report Categories” for “ADVANCED STATISTICS”. If you don’t see it, please call PawnMaster support to set up a time to update your reporting tools.

Getting Started

PawnMaster reporting can help guide you while filling out the NPA Benchmark Survey in three different areas: Sales and Inventory, Pawn Transactions, and Pawn Detail.

Please note: for the “Pawn Balance: $” column under Pawn Transactions and the “Ending Inventory Balance” column under Sales and Inventory, you will need to access your manually archived monthly reports. If you don’t have saved reports for any particular month, leave those lines blank and continue to fill out the rest of the survey to the best of your ability.

If you do not do so already, PawnMaster recommends running and saving current balance reports every month.

In the sections below, we’ve listed the category, report, and line items where you can find data you need using some of our new Advanced Statistics reports. However, if you’re familiar with PawnMaster reporting, or you’d like to get started before you have access to the new reports, you can find all of the information you need for the Sales and Inventory and Pawn Transactions sections in either the ACCOUNTING > Analysis Report, or the ACCOUNTING > Management Dashboard Report. The Pawn Detail section requires Advanced Statistics reports.
