Tom Streng, co-founder of Data Age Business Systems, the developers of PawnMaster software, announced today that he will be transitioning into a role as Chairman of the Board. Streng will continue to contribute his 30-plus years of expertise to Data Age on a strategic level.
Len Summa, who has been running day-to-day operations for the last four years was named Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at the world’s most widely used pawn shop software company.
“It is clear to me that it is time for Len to become CEO. He has played a key role in bringing in the right people and the right processes over the last four years. Under his leadership, Data Age has organically added over 1,000 stores and continues to increase market share, widening the competitive gap. The prominent role for Len Summa, formerly COO, will be to set the strategy and vision for Data Age. Summa will also continue building the team and culture that will give the company the ability to continue to grow and maintain its status as the industry leader. He will continue to expand upon his mission to bring education and knowledge to positively impact the industry.
